About The Event
Entering to Meditation
“Opening our Hearts to Prayer through Meditation and Breath”
In this series, we will explore how gentle movement, meditation and breath can bring us closer to our connection to prayer and to our own spiritual path. When our bodies and minds are relaxed and still, we are able to connect on a deeper level, without the distractions of our everyday thoughts. Together, we will practice gentle seated movement, allowing the physical body to release any tension and connects us to the breath. By using gentle breath techniques, the body is calmed and readied for meditation. Simple guided meditations bring our minds and hearts to a place that is open and ready to connect with prayer. No yoga or meditation experience necessary.
Each week, gentle seated postures will be introduced and built upon to ease physical tension and provide a greater sense of ease. Varying breath techniques will be used and incorporated. A different guided mediation, inspired by the Lenten season will be the main focus of each week. 30 minutes.

Growing with Story
“Connecting our heart to our Spiritual path.”
After entering to the meditation part of the Lenten series, we will connect to our spiritual path by hearing a story and being in the story. At each session of the series, different guest will share their own stories for us to hear, reflect, connect, and grow. This will be a relaxing fun 30 minutes.
