What is Ministry?

Ministry is any service directed to God with the intention of building up the church and God’s people. It is an invitation to us to use our God-given gifts for the sake of Christ’s church. To that end, Zion shares the love of Christ through programs that serve both members of our church and the community around us.

Volunteer

Quilters

LWR Mission Quilts create a lasting bond between the people who lovingly assemble them, and our neighbors in their greatest times of need.

Christmas-at-Sea

Volunteers from Zion provide satchels containing necessities to seafarers who will not be home with their loved ones for Christmas.

Men's Shelter

Volunteers from Zion serve hot meals to the men of the SPCDC Emergency Men's Shelter.

Food & Fund Drive

Zion collects nonperishable foods, supermarket gift cards, and diapers to donate to the Center For Food Action New Jersey.

Support Groups

We share the love of God by not only helping with physical needs but by helping feed the soul.
